Step4: Enter partner details
When you have completed the steps mentioned earlier, you are required to provide the director's details and if it is a partnership firm, then provide the details of your partners.
Step5: Upload documents
The next important step is to upload all the essential documents, such as address proof, cancelled cheque etc., by scanning them. By following that, complete the payment process.
Step6: Preview and submit the application form
The final step in how to apply for import export code is previewing and submitting your application form. If you find any mistakes in the preview, go back and change the mistakes. For future purposes, print your application form and the IEC number will be displayed. At last, select the "Submit and generate IEC certificate".
